This map, the result of collaboration between the famous Croatian historian Ivan Lučić and the Dutch cartographer Johannes Blaeu, was created in 1644. It shows the Northern Adriatic area, including Istria, Kvarner Bay, Trieste and parts of Slovenia and northern Croatia. It shows in detail the geographical features and political division of the region at that time.
